Study facilities

The School of Architecture is located in its own small urban campus in the historic centre of Oulu. The main building APAJA accommodates two auditoriums, an exhibition space, art studios, metal and wood workshops and the main computer lab. 1st, 2nd and 3rd year bachelor level students have their  studios in the old main building. Master level students have the possibility to do individual and team work in smaller studios. All study premises of the School are accessable for architecture students 24 hours a day.

The School accommodates the architecture library unit of the university library. The new Media Lounge was designed by the architecture students themselves and has been opened in the school library in March 2013.

NB! The Oulu School of Architecture will move to the University main campus at the end of the year 2016 into temporary premises for one year. The renovated new facilities of the school at the main campus are planned to be completed by the beginning of 2018.
