Oulu School of Architecture has moved to its new premises

The Oulu School of Architecture celebrated its new premises in the opening seminar on February 27th.

The school has finally moved to its newly renovated premises in the Linnanmaa university campus. The speakers in the welcoming seminar were: Head of school, professor Janne PIHLAJANIEMI opening the venue, LUO architects' team Miia MÄKINEN / Riikka KUITTINEN /Mikko KÄMÄRÄINEN, artist Riikka SOININEN  and architect Antti NOUSJOKI form ALA architects, telling about their work and life stories related to the Oulu School of Architecture. Special guest of the day, author Anna-Leena Härkönen was interviewed by professor Matti SANAKSENAHO on her work as a writer and life as a public person. Key-note speaker of the seminar, Architect Einar Jarmund from Oslo, Norway presented a wide range of realized works by Jarmund/Vigsnaes architects . Lafka Open Stage organized by students completed the cheerful opening day of the new school.
