East and Southeast Asian Studies offers students a chance to become familiar with the region from the perspectives of history, political and social studies, economic science and intercultural communication.

Students who have been accepted for the national Asian Studies programme organized by Finnish University Network Asian Studies (www.asianet.fi) have the right to take East and Southeast Asian Studies. Students can complete the Basic Studies in the subject.
