Campus Futurus is a network organisation that supporst and
promotes the research, development, training and services related to learning
environments that make use of the information and communication technologies at
the University of Oulu.
Campus Futurus serves the university's students and staff
as well as regional, national and international groups involved with the
university.
Campus Futurus assembles together the knowhow that exists at
the university, launching and supporting co-operation projects and arranging
training and discussions. It is responsible for drawing up and developing the
strategy for the educational use of the information and communication
technologies at the University of Oulu.
The activities of Campus Futurus are based on efficient
utilisation of the knowledge and infrastructure available at the university.
The operation of Campus Futurus is based on funds allocated from the
university's budget. Some of the funds are channelled through regional,
national and international development projects. |
