Center of Microscopy and Nanotechnology is doing extensive collaboration with departments and laboratories of the University of Oulu. Dozens of university units are using the cleanroom and the devices of center the in their research projects.

CMNT has collaboration with several Finnish and foreign universities and research institutes and it also participate in the work of many research associations. Dozens of companies working in the various fields of industry utilize the equipment and services of the CMNT in their activities.
