Adobe  Connect (Pro)  is a versatile web conferencing and communications tool aimed at real time meetings, web learning or on-line presentations. The meetings take place in virtual rooms using audio, video and content sharing.

A meeting participant is able to see, hear and collaborate using simple tools.  All that is needed for basic use are a modern PC, network  connection, headset and Flash player plug-in for the web browser. The experience can be further enhanced by the use of a web camera. 

The system was deployed as a common service for the university during 2008.
