The Department of Biochemistry has established a Protein Science International Master’s Scholarship Programme to provide scholarships to academically talented international students who undertake the international master’s in Protein Science and Biotechnology at the University of Oulu.

The scholarship is for a maximum of two years and is for 4000 euros per year.

In order to retain the Protein Science International Master’s Scholarships for a second year of study a student must have completed at least 55 ECTS by the end of their first academic year. There is no separate application for the Protein Science International Master’s Scholarship.

All applicants for University of Oulu Master’s degree programmes need to complete the Student Application Form available here.

Those applicants who are applying for the Protein Science International Master’s Scholarship have to additionally complete the question found at the end of the Student Application Form.

There are up to 15 places available on the Protein Science and Biotechnology international master’s programme and up to 15 Protein Science International Master’s scholarships are available.

Students may apply for and, where eligible, be granted both the Protein Science International Master’s scholarship and the University of Oulu IM scholarship.
