This unique programme allows the students to learn about the physics of various space objects ranging down from galaxies to stars, planetary systems, planets and their atmospheres. The students will take advanced courses in physics of cosmic sources including plasma physics, ionospheric and magnetospheric physics, solar and stellar physics, high-energy astrophysics, observational techniques, and dynamics of space bodies.

Computer simulations and scientific programming are the essential part of the curriculum. A broad education in physical sciences and computers will allow the graduates to work at the astronomical observatories, space agencies, and research institutes and to continue with doctoral studies. The achieved computational and mathematical skills also give the graduates good opportunities to move from research to a wide variety of positions both in community and business life.
