The University of Oulu offers study opportunities with a solid academic foundation ranging from 5-6 year degree programmes and master’s programmes to doctoral training. There are also several possibilities such as open university studies, executive training and continuing education for developing and maintaining skills and competencies.
In addition to a variety of student exchange programmes, international master’s degree programmes in English are offered in six fields of study, making the university an international study environment.
Magnetic resonance (MR) techniques, such as nuclear magnetic resonance (NMR) spectroscopy and magnetic resonance imaging (MRI), provide extraordinarily versatile information about the physical properties, chemistry, structure and dynamic phenomena of materials. The programme provides a unique combination of theoretical, experimental, and computational education in NMR in various materials. The aim is to develop the appropriate competence and knowledge needed in high-tech industries and medical technologies applying nuclear magnetism as well as in research in physics, chemistry, bio- and materials sciences.
