Emerging Components and Technologies (J. Häkkinen)

The focus in the field of emerging technologies (e.g. printed electronics) is on the reliability of printed components and circuits, printed sensors and their interface electronics, circuits utilizing novel flexible components such as printed/flexible memristors and CNT FETs, and modeling and new design methods and tools for flexible electronics. More specifically, research is currently carried out in:

  • reliability of printed components and systems (T and RH reliability of printed passives)
  • novel circuits and components (printed wireless humidity sensor, HIFET oscillator and Inkjet printed memristors)
  • design methods and tools for flexible electronics (effects of bending on electrical performance of printed passives).
