The Department of Electrical Engineering, an internationally recognized, high excellence and quality unit with significant scientific impact, consists of the Electronics laboratory, the Optoelectronics and Measurement Techniques laboratory, the Microelectronics and Materials Physics laboratories, and the Mathematics division.

The Degree Programme in Electrical Engineering educates Bachelors of Science (Technology) and Masters of Science (Technology) for the electronics and telecommunication industry, for research and education institutes and for public administration. The education is focused on R&D of electronics and telecommunications, research and manufacturing skills and knowledge.
