Research

Department of Electrical Engineering has a significant role in the international level scientific research performed in the Faculty of Technology. This requires often strong knowledge on natural sciences. The research cooperation with industrial companies is also very active and has led to emergence of entrepreneurship. The most important fields of the research are joint with electronics and optoelectronics, measurement technology, printed electronics, electronics materials and devices and their manufacturing techniques, nanotechnology and applied mathematics. Technological applications are actively developed based on these results.
