Alumni Relations
All University of Oulu graduates with a Bachelor, Master or a Doctoral Degree are alumni. The University of Oulu alumni body is over 42 000. Each year, over 1000 new Master and 100 new Doctoral alumni join the alumni community. Of the graduates, about 150 hundred have completed an international Master programme.
The Alumni Network is an online free-of-charge service for all alumni to keep in touch with fellow alumni and the University. In the Alumni Network you get to join an alumni community with 6000 members. As a member, you will receive a newsletter, event invites and a hard copy of the Aktuumi magazine.
University of Oulu Alumni Ambassador Programme
Academic Affairs and the Extension School TOPIK warmly invite Master students and recent graduates to sign up for the University of Oulu Alumni Ambassador Programme. You can join the programme by signing up. Sign up deadline is October 9, 2013 at 12.00. You cannot open, fill in or send the sign up form after the deadline.
Ambassador candidates will go through a training programme during October 2013 - May 2014.

Who are Alumni Ambassadors?
University of Oulu Alumni Ambassadors are trained alumni volunteers. They are spokespersons for the University actively involved in the life of the University after graduation. Volunteering opportunities vary from representing the University at a study fair or joining a University delegation abroad to writing a blog entry about the study experience. First volunteering opportunities will take place during spring 2014.
Being a part of the Alumni Ambassador programme is a fantastic way to share the unique experience you have built up of the University during studies. You stay involved with University of Oulu life after graduation. Through training and volunteering opportunities, you get to develop local and global networks. For those interested in a career in higher education, the programme is a good way to explore the fields of International and Alumni Relations.
