NMR triple celebration meeting

The Departments of Physics and Chemistry invite people interested in nuclear magnetic resonance (NMR) spectroscopy and magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) to participate in a one-day NMR meeting at the University of Oulu on February 27th. The meeting is organized to celebrate three topical issues:

• the career of Professor Jukka Jokisaari, who will retire in February
• inauguration of the new NMR laboratory
• 50-year history of NMR at the University of Oulu

The program includes historical overviews (both in Finnish and in English), the inauguration ceremony and lectures of three invited, top-level international speakers as well as local researchers. The dead-line for the registration is February 13th.
