Riitta Keiski named Professor of the Year

University of Oulu Professor of Mass and Heat Transfer Riitta Keiski was named Professor of the Year by The Finnish Union of University Professors (FUUP) on Friday. Professor Keiski was awarded 15.000 Euros with the recognition.
Professor Keiski was commended by the Union board for her merits as a researcher, developer of researcher education, and for drawing attention to questions of research ethics and equality. In her research Prof. Keiski has focused in sustainable development and globally important areas related to technology and green chemistry.
Riitta Keiski, 54, was appointed Professor of Mass and Heat Transferin the University of Oulu in 2001. She was a University vice-rector between 2006-2009.
