Opening ceremonies for Academic Year 2012-2013

Opening ceremonies for Academic Year 2012-2013 will take place during September 3 – 5, 2012. City of Oulu will fly University of Oulu flags on Merikoski bridges during all three days.

Monday September 3, 2012

Opening event at Rotuaari pedestrian street at 10.30-12.00
Ecumenical opening Church service at St Luke’s chapel at 14.00
Official Opening Ceremony in Saalasti hall at Linnanmaa Campus at 15.15

Changes have been made regarding the day’s parades: there will be no parade to the ecumenical church service. Only parade of the day is for University professors arriving to the official opening ceremony in Saalasti hall.

Come and find out what is available in the new Student Center. You can find the Student Center right in the center of Linnanmaa campus close to the main lobby. Surprise programme and refreshments will be offered.
