All new students admitted to the University through the national student admissions service (YSHJ) need to submit the enrolment and registration form and the study place confirmation form to the Student Center of the University of Oulu by 31 July, 2012, 4:15pm. This also applies students who have accepted their study place electronically via YSHJ. Students starting their studies in Autumn 2012 (registering as present) also need to submit a receipt for their Student Union membership fee.
The University automatically records the study right and attendance status of the new student. Students postponing their studies are registered as absent. Separate registration is not needed.
New students will receive detailed instructions in the admission letter.
b) Other student admissions
Students accepted to the university through other student admissions, e.g. transfer students, postgraduate students, exchange students, international degree students or students in separate Masters programmes register at Student Center within the registration period determined by the faculty.
c) Admitted students who have postponed their enrolment
Students who have previously postponed their enrolment to the University of Oulu and are now beginning their studies register at Student Center as existing students within the registration period.
