EILC Language Courses

Students going on Erasmus exchange can apply for Erasmus Intensive Language Courses (EILC), which are specialized courses in the less widely used languages in Europe. EILC’s take place before your actual Erasmus exchange starts. EILC coursess last for 4-6 weeks.

EILC’s are organised in the following countries:

Belgium (flamish), Bulgaria, Chech Republic, Cypros, Denmark, Estonia, Greece, Hungary, Iceland, Italy, Latvia, Lithuania, Malta, The Netherlands, Norway, Portugal, Poland, Romania, Slovakia, Slovenia, Switzerland (Italian) and Turkey. Also these language areas in Spain are included: Bask, Catalan, Galician and Valencian languages.

EILC’s are free for students. Students accepted by the organizing institution are granted a separate grant of 400 euros on top of their Erasmus grant. The length of EILC will not be counted as part of the actual Erasmus exchange period.

Application period for EILC’s organised in the autumn semester 2013 has ended.

The next application round will be announced later.
