Placements

In addition to Erasmus exchange, students also have the possibility to gain work experience through ERASMUS Placements.

Placement enables students studying at higher education institutions to spend a placement (traineeship/internship) period between 3 - 12 months in an enterprise or organization in another participating European country.

Outgoing trainees may be eligible for a monthly Erasmus scholarship from the University of Oulu depending on whether they get paid for the traineeship and on the number of available scholarships.

Outgoing ERASMUS Placement students can also apply for an intensive language course (EILC) organised in the host country before their placement begins.
