There will be a call for research groups of Eudaimonia during the Autumn 2013-Spring 2014. The estimate is that there will be around 10-20 research groups. The areas defining the Eudaimonia research profile relate to humanities, education, business and human geography. The criteria for selecting the research groups will be defined later by the Eudaimonia Management Group. The evaluation aims to determine the level of performance in high-quality research, the focus including:

• multi-/interdisciplinary elements
• level of internationalization
• societal relevance / impact
• productivity
• research policy and management
• doctoral training and supervision

Following an open international call for applicants, the Scientific Director and Governing Board of Eudaimonia nominates the research groups, based on the results of a competitive external evaluation by an independent, preferably international panel of experts.
