Accommodation
We have made preliminary room reservations at special rates in the hotels listed below. All hotel reservations should be made directly through the hotels by email or phone, quoting the conference code "NAES2010". There is also information about other hotels in Oulu below.
There will also be some rooms available at the student halls of recidence near the university. Please see end of page for more information.
The recently-renovated Radisson Blue Hotel is located in the city centre, on the seashore next to the marketplace, approximately five kilometres from the university. The hotel offers high-speed internet connections to its guests, free of charge. A bus stop is located close to the hotel, with frequent connections to the university.
The room quota at Radisson Blu will be reserved for the conference delegates until 8th May 2010. Please book early to ensure your accommodation.

Other hotels in Oulu
There are also a couple of smaller hotels in Oulu which have somewhat lower rates (prices range from 70 EUR upwards during the week and from 55 EUR on weekends) but unfortunately, we were not able to make preliminary reservations in them due to their limited number of rooms. This means we cannot guarantee a room in these hotels.

The student halls are near the university, 5-10 minutes walk from the conference site and approximately five kilometres from the city centre. These are flats of 2 or 4 single bedrooms with a shared kitchen and bathroom. The rooms are simply furnished. Sheets and towels will be provided. The flats are not serviced.
In addition to grocery stores, there are only a few fast food restaurants in the area around the university. Most delegates will probably want to eat in the city centre in the evenings. There are bus services between the campus and the city centre.
