Writing a pro gradu thesis

PROSEMINARS
The aim of the proseminar is to introduce students, through joint sessions and group work on specific topics, to research methods and scholarly style. Students will also acquire practice in the use of libraries, in scholarly discussions and the evaluation of research. A number of proseminars are offered each year, all on different topics. Some of these run in the fall or spring term only and some across the whole academic year.

SEMINARS
The aim of the seminar is to foster students' ability to define specific research problems and goals, find appropriate methods to deal with the problems and present the results of their research in a clear and consistent form, in speech and writing. A number of seminars are offered each year, all on different topics. Some of these run in the fall or spring term only and some across the whole academic year.
