On my own words
Nano and Molecular Systems (NANOMO), Department of Physics, Faculty of Science, University of Oulu
I am started as doctoral student in NANOMO group in January, 2017. My research topic is “Synchrotron radiation characterization of early stages of radiation damage and radio-sensitization in biomolecule – water matrix model systems” under the supervision of Minna Patanen. This research involves two partner organizations: Northern Ostrobothnia Hospital District (NOHD) and Uppsala University (UU). My doctoral thesis will end up with double doctoral degree between University of Oulu and Uppsala University.
I am from Islamabad, Pakistan. I did my bachelor degree in Materials Engineering with specialization in Surface Engineering from National University of Science & Technology (NUST), Pakistan. After my under-graduation I got fully funded scholarship for master degree under the Erasmus Mundus Master program SERP-Chem coordinated by Paris-Sud University, France. I got double master degree from University of Genoa, Italy and Adam Mickiewicz University, Poland under SERP-Chem Program. During My master thesis I worked on Photo-stability and Photo-sensitizing Properties of Sunscreens Ingredient’s and later on, I also published one paper based on master thesis research in Journal of Photochemistry and Photobiology: A Chemistry (DOI: 10.1016/j.jphotochem.2016.08.036). Then I started Working in National University of Science & Technology (NUST), Pakistan as Lectures. I teaches different under-graduate courses during my work in NUST as lecturer.
After my I4FUTURE PhD degree, I am willing to perform as independent scientific researcher. This program will help me giving all those tools need for independent researcher and will performed my research work in any kind of environment.
