Different kinds of projects can be managed by applying project management methods in a way ensuring that the target is reached. Project management includes the whole life cycle of a project, from the early development of a project idea to the planning and execution of the project and the maintenance of the resulting product.
The aim of quality management is to achieve lasting competitiveness. Integral factors of quality management are customer focus, continuous improvement and process-oriented thinking. Tools of quality management include statistical methods for process control, quality certificates and quality management models that provide an overall view of the target organisation.
