Infotech Oulu Doctoral Program
Infotech Oulu Doctoral Program develops doctoral education on information technology in the university. Its goal is to systematize curricula and intensify doctoral studies. The program organizes lecture series, courses and summer/winter schools. It is a part of the national graduate school system, having currently 25 doctoral student positions financed by the Ministry of Education and Culture. The program has 168 doctoral students (in the end of 2011). The main areas of the program are electronics, communications engineering, and computer science and information engineering.
