If you have been selected to Master's Programme in Software, Systems and Services Development in the Global Environment (GS3D), you will study two years and receive Master of Science degree. Please, follow the instructions on this page regarding to the beginning of your studies.
Before You Begin Your Studies
You should confirm your study place as well as enroll and register to the university before you begin your studies. In addition, you should activate your user account for systems and services of the university. You will need access into computers and information systems already during the Orientation Week.

Beginning of Your Studies
|Your studies will begin in Linnanmaa campus on Monday, September 3rd, 2018 at 9am.|
The first day program is organised by the University Student Services. Thus, follow their announcements on the location.
It is highly recommended to participate in Orientation week that is arranged from Monday, September 3rd to Friday, September 7th, 2018. During the week, you will receive information on University of Oulu and your forthcoming studies as well as you will get acquainted with other students. You will also familiarise with Information Processing Science and personnel teaching it.

First courses will begin on Monday, September 3rd, 2018. Teaching is organised into four periods (two in autumn semester and two in spring semester) in University of Oulu. In addition, some courses are also offered during summer time. In the academic year 2018-2019, the first period lasts till October 26th.
