SSL certificates have been signed with the Oulu.fi certificates. The Oulu.fi certificate must be installed in your browser to access the SSL encrypted pages without a warning. Otherwise, every time an attempt is made to access an SSL encrypted page, the user will be prompted to accept the encrypted connection.

New browsers (IE7, Firefox 2/3, Safari 3, Opera 9.27) can access these pages without a prompt to accept the encrypted connection.

For older systems and browsers it may still be necessary to install SSL Oulu.fi web certificates for proper communication

Open the certificate, OK, Install Certificate, Next, Automatically select the certificate, Next, make sure that the Certificate Store .. is Trusted Root Certificate, and press Finish.

Safari (Mac OSX)
Download certificate from
http://www.oulu.fi/atkk/oulu.cer

Open Keychain Access by clicking on the oulu.cer file, this will open the Add Certificates menu,within this menu select X509 Anchors from the keychain drop down. Next, clicked "OK", and enter your administrator password. End the certificate installation by clicking OK.
