SSH, or Secure Shell is a safe way to transfer information. An SSH client offers many services in one package.
• Secure connection to the Paju server

How to establish an SSH connection to Paju / Koivu
Putty, available on all Windows workstations, is required to establish a secure SSH connection to Paju. Launch Putty and follow the instructions below.
Host Name: paju (from outside the University network use paju.oulu.fi)
Port: 22
To login, click Open -button
Next, at the login prompt, enter your Paju user ID and password. When you want to disconnect from Paju, type exit or logout.
