Centralized and tailored multi point video conferencing services are offered mainly to our own university community but also to institutions of higher learning, cooperating parties, and companies.

Adobe Connect
Adobe® Connect™ is our another technology to arrange enterprise web conferencing for online meetings, eLearning, and webinars: only PC, web cam, microphone (or microphone/earphone headset combination), Internet connection and Adobe flash palyer and WWW browser software is needed. You can contact to the Adobe Connect service from your personal university workstation too, if you have the needed components listed above.
There can be participants (attendees) in these meetings outside of our University too, but the meeting arranger and the virtual meeting room owner in Adobe Connect has to be from the personnel from the University of Oulu. For using this service you need a separate User ID and password for our Adobe Connect server from our Contact Person. (Adobe Connect Helpdesk, email: connectpro.helpdesk(at)oulu.fi).
Capacity
Classical Video Conferencing
The university has two MCU's or so called video conferencing bridges, which connect 10 ISDN, 74 IP or 46 phone call participants.
Some University departments, which utilize video conferencing actively, have their own support personnel and equipment.

The reserving of rooms YY197, YY198 and SÄ111 is made from the support persons of the video conference. Others are public university lecture halls and they are reserved from the university lecture hall services.
Pricing:
On weekdays: University internal mean price: 38 €/h, IP bridge service: 8 €/bridge point/h, on the evenings and weekends the prices will be 50 % more expensive. ISDN call outside the university and the support person's presence has an additional price.
Adobe Connect:
In the meeting room there can be altogether 100 participants. There is one room in use where 1000 participants can join, if necessary. In the user accounts there is no upper limit. There are 25 meeting host accounts now in our Adobe Connect (users who can create new virtual conference rooms).
