Finnish University Network for Asian Studies
The aim of the Finnish University Network for Asian Studies is to promote education, research and personal exchange on and to Asia in the member universities. The Network is coordinated at the University of Turku, Centre for East Asian Studies, CEAS.

University of Oulu branch office in Japan
On February 20, 2012 University of Oulu opened a new office in Yokohama, Japan. The office, called CWC Nippon, is a part of the University of Oulu Centre for Wireless Communications (CWC) and it will be focusing on medical wireless networks and disaster prevention and recovery ICT.
The Finnish Institute in Japan
University of Oulu is one of the member organizations of the Foundation of the Finnish Institute in Japan.
