The main objective of the CORE+ project is to aid the future mobile communication network to improve their resource usage by taking advantage of the recently developed CRS technology and trial those developments. More specifically, the objective is to introduce selected concepts including particularly licensed shared access (LSA) and active antenna systems (AAS) into real-life mobile communication network trials to assess their performances taking into account the underlying business ecosystem and regulatory/standardization development. Oulu Business School focuses on researching the impact of spectrum sharing with CRS on the value co-creation and co-capture, and creation of competitive advantages, through the business models and ecosystems of the key stakeholders in the mobile broadband business.
