The Department of Educational Sciences and Teacher Education is a multidiciplinary research and education facility in the field of education and teaching. The Department has approximately 1300 students and 130 staff members.
Students graduate from our Department as experts in education. In working life, students function, for example, as primary school, kindergarten or secondary teachers or as project planners, researchers or other experts in tasks relating to education.
We carry out extensive research in educational sciences and in other Department's main research areas.
In addition, we have wide international networks for research, for student and staff exchanges and for international development projects and co-operation.
