Scientific Units of the Department
The Faculty of Educational Sciences in the University of Oulu consists of two separate profit centers: The Department of Educational Sciences and Teacher Education in Oulu, and the Department of Teacher Education in Kajaani.
The Department of Educational Sciences and Teacher Education is divided in six different units which have been formed according to scientific fields of study. In addition to these units, the administrative services and the teacher training school form their own separate subunit.
The Department also has three committees which handle and prepare matters for the Department Council. These three are committees of study affairs, research and personnel.
