Information concerning all programmes
The Department of Educational Sciences and Teacher Education in Oulu provides studies and research in areas of educational science, educational psychology, early education, music education, educational technology, multidisciplinary primary school subjects and subject didactics.
The Department is large and versatile; it offers Master's level programmes in Primary Teacher Education, in Early Education, in Music Education and in Educational Science. It also offers pedagogical studies for secondary teacher education students from other faculties. In addition, the Department offers three special Master's level primary education programmes: a Master of Education International Programme, a Technology Oriented Primary Teacher Education Programme and an Arts and Crafts Oriented Primary Teacher Education Programme. All of these special programmes aim at responding to the new challenges in the area of education. Education and Globalisation is a two-year Master's degree programme.
