Information concerning all programmes
Admissions for the educational programmes in the Faculty of Education take place during the spring, March till June.
Exact application times, application procedures and links for the application forms can be found from the
Selection Criteria section in Finnish.
Regarding the English-taught Programmes:
- The application deadline for the 2-year Master’s Degree Programme in Education and Globalisation (EdGlo) is in January (please click the link for the selection criteria here.)
- The application deadline for the 5-year Intercultural Teacher Education (ITE, formerly known as Master of Education, International Programme) is in April (please click the link for the selection criteria here.)
The Faculty of Education can annually give admission to a regulated number of international exchange students from our official partner universities/institutions (Erasmus partner universities, Nordplus networks, North-South-South projects and bilateral exchange partners of the University of Oulu ). Before starting the application process as an exchange student, please consult your International Coordinator at your home institution and make sure that your home university/institution has a formal student exchange agreement with our Faculty or University.
