LeaF facilities and services enable multidisciplinary research in learning and interaction in human sciences.

Space

LeaF Infrastructure is physically located at the University of Oulu, at the Linnanmaa campus. The spaces is specially designed for supporting learning and interaction research.

The maximum capacity of the larger space is 50 persons. Laboratory for invidual and small groups can withold up to five persons. Spaces are highly flexible: larger space can be divided into smaller rooms with mobile soundproof walls; all furniture is mobile and can be transformed on the basis of the users' needs and requirements.

Services

Our services are available to the research and teaching staff at the University of Oulu.

The LeaF space, including its technology and equipment, is also available for users from other universities, research organisations and private companies.

LeaF stores data recorded in it for one year. After this, users have to find a repository for the material from another server.

Equipment

The technologies can be used locally, but they are also mobile and can be borrowed and used elsewhere. Below you will find a list of the most important equipment and software available in LeaF. In addition to the listed equipment, the space has the most common presentation and audiovisual equipment.
