Through Universal Borrowing customers themselves can request books and articlecopies from the National Repository Library, which is located in Kuopio, and books from the Oulu University of Applied Sciences and the Kajaani University of Applied Sciences. Both loans and copies of articles are free of charge to the customer.

Book loans can be ordered by all Oulu University Library customers. Copies of articles can be ordered by the staff and students of the University of Oulu for study and research purposes.

Books are delivered to the desired pickup location from there they can be collected and taken out on loan. The loans should also be returned to the same desk.
