Interlibrary loan service of Oulu University Library
For customers in Oulu
The interlibrary loan service searches and orders publications for loan and photocopies of publications that are not available at Oulu University Library.
You can place an order:
1. by filling out a webform
2. via e-mail
3. by filling out a paper order form at the library
The remote service order is binding. Once the order is placed, the customer must pay the order costs, even if they do not pick up the book. Renewal of the loan is possible if there are no reservations for the work. The customer undertakes to comply with the borrowing rules and to reimburse the costs of default.
Interlibrary loan orders do not appear in the customer's loan information in Oula-Finna, but the Interlibrary Loan Service has its own register with information about books and customers.
The service is fee-based. The fees charged for interlibrary loans can be found in the library services price list.
Interlibrary loans can be picked up from all our libraries.
Other library users than the students and staff of the University of Oulu and Oulu University of Applied Sciences may have a maximum of 100 items on loan at any given time from Oulu University Library and 25 concurrent interlibrary loans.

Other libraries in Finland and abroad can order through the interlibrary loan service photocopies and publications for loan from the collections of the Oulu University Library.
- Course textbooks from Pegasus Library are not for interlibrary loans.
