In collaboration with the Publications Committee, the Publications Services edit and publish the series Acta Universitatis Ouluensis and Oulun yliopiston oppimateriaalia (University of Oulu study materials series).

The open access repository Jultika, which is maintained by the Publications Services, contains online versions of publications in other series of the University of Oulu as well.

Publications Services maintain publication search directories and catalogues. ISBNs for publications from the University of Oulu are assigned by the Publications Services.
