Unreturned loan

If a borrowed item is not returned by its due time during library opening hours:

If a customer fails to pick up an item he/she has requested through the interlibrary service, he/she must pay the fee specified in the price list. If an interlibrary loan is not returned after the library has sent an overdue notice to the customer and the lending library charges overdue fees for late returns, the interlibrary service will collect the fees from the customer.
Rapid delivery: list price multiplied by three.
If the bill is paid by a unit of the University of Oulu, the customer must notify the cost pool.

Information service

Guidance for electronic reference and full text databases, printed resources etc. is free for staff and students of the University of Oulu. Library instruction and instruction in the use of information resources for groups is also with no charge.

Non-university customers:
Customers are given free initial guidance for electronic reference and full text databases, printed resources etc. (max 30 min.). If an information specialist performs a search the fee is 52€ / hour; minimum fee 26€. Library instruction and instruction in the use of information resources for groups: 60€ / hour in the library, elsewhere on agreement.
