The bibliometric services offered by the Oulu University Library include citation analyses, Impact Factor values, as well as guidance and training. Citation analyses are made free of charge for departments, faculties and research groups to be used as support in decision-making. Guidance and training for University units, staff and students is free of charge. Other libraries and business customers will be charged a fee according to the library service price list.

CITATION ANALYSIS  
We find out how frequently a particular researcher’s articles have been cited in other articles. In addition to the number of citations, we can also find out the H-index of the researcher. We use data provides by the Web of Science and Scopus databases.

IMPACT FACTOR VALUES    
We also find out the Impact Factor values of individual journals upon request. The IF values of journals included in the Web of Science database are published annually by Thomson Reuters in the Journal Citation Reports database.
