The department of Mechanical Engineering is divided into laboratories.

The laboratories are:

• Machine design laboratory
• Materials Engineering laboratory
• Mechatronics and Machine Diagnostics laboratory
• Engineering Mechanics laboratory
• Production Technology laboratory
• Structural Engineering and Construction Technology laboratory.

Laboratories take care of teaching in their special sector of industry and carry out research.
