Oulu Business School at the University of Oulu is an international research and educational institute for economic sciences. Oulu, a modern growth centre, creates an inspiring and stimulating environment for business studies, work and leisure.
Oulu Business School is accredited by AACSB International (The Association to Advance Collegiate Schools of Business), the premier accreditation body for business schools worldwide. In order to achieve accreditation, a school must fulfill rigorous quality criteria that focus on different aspects: strategic management, the quality of the school's faculty, students and processes, and the level of education programmes and student learning. Only some 5 % of the world's business schools have earned AACSB Accreditation.
Oulu Business School is one of the six faculties within the University of Oulu, the second largest multidisciplinary university in Finland. With 1400 students and 100 staff members, Oulu Business School (OBS) is solely responsible for the University level Business Education in the whole of Northern Finland (the provinces of Oulu and Lapland; an area covering half of Finland).
