Description of project:
The project aims to develop and improve digital marketing knowledge and capabilities of Finnish industrial companies and businesses in general.
Research consortium or cooperation partners:
The University of Jyväskylä (coordinator), OBS, Aalto University and Jyväskylä University of Applied Sciences. The industry partners involved are Elematic, Moventas, Rautaruukki, The Switch, UPM, Vapo, Wärtsilä, Tieto, BrandSon, DiVia, Movya and Radical.
(Anticipated) results of the project:
The project aims to develop digital marketing and communication competencies in the participating firms, especially for developing customer relationships, sales, marketing communication and product development needs. With improved know-how in digital marketing, firms are able to achieve cost savings, increasing sales and using their resources more effectively. In terms of scientific research, the project aims to conduct empirical research by studying the industry partners involved. These provide interesting empirical settings from the perspective of the research theme. In addition to case studied, a broad survey will also be conducted.
