Source of the funding:
Finnish Funding Agency for Technology and Innovation (TEKES)
Committed funding:
EUR 42 000
Description of project:
Ill-being of children and youth is a global problem, which is seen for example in increasing of youth disability pensions, drug abuse and school shooting. This project aims to study how could these problems be solved by applying sensors and two-way social web, for example by monitoring stress. Our theme is challenging and requires research efforts from the bio-sensors even to the general concept and business models. Our goal is to prevent these problems by a user-centric combination of multi-parametric sensors and social web. We expect new technical sensor solutions integrated to the social; web leading to new service concepts.
