Butterly species of Hailuoto

Butterfly species of Hailuoto have been under study systemically since 1970´s. Since 1993 The Bothinian Bay Research Station and Finnish Environment Institute have collaborated with night butterfly study. In the Reserch Station, there is a collection of butterflies found on island Hailuoto. On these websites, there are lists (scientific and finnish names) and photos from species on this collection.
