WATER RESOURCES AND ENVIRONMENTAL ENGINEERING LABORATORY

Analytical laboratory

The unit possesses equipment for performing the analyses required in water supplies engineering and watercourse research and is able to pre-process and analyse water, wastewater, sediment and soil samples. The unit co-operate with chemical process engineering laboratory on water analytical facilities. Since 2004, most routine water quality analysis is carried out by the regional environmental centre and the unit is only in research purpose.

water

The laboratory covers range of water analytical resources including:

  • jar-test
  • Z-potential measurement
  • total surface charge measurement
  • ultra filtration
  • equipments needed for water and wastewater treatment laboratory research
  • facilities to carry out different batch test for soil and by-product
  • resources for ion selective electrode and polarographic analyses
  • FIA
  • TOC
  • laboratory basic resources
