WATER RESOURCES AND ENVIRONMENTAL ENGINEERING LABORATORY

Education

The Laboratory is responsible for the MSc degree program in water and geoenvironmental engineering. The education include studies in surface and ground waters, soils and land-use, environmental impacts, modeling and assessment, contaminant transport, pollution control, environmental protection, landfill structures, water and wastewater treatment, urban drainage, water chemistry and waste technology. The degree provides a variety of skills needed for work in consultancy, public administration and industry.
Students have the opportunity to complete some of their studies at Luleå University of Technology in Sweden with focus in e.g. civil engineering, geotechnics, dams, waste management, and urban hydrology.
