Water pollution, eutrophication, overexploitation of ground and surface water. Main effects of pollution and other stresses. Nonrenewable and renewable energy. Energy conservation and efficiency. Hazardous and solid waste problem. Principles of toxicology, epidemiology, and risk assessment. Environmental ethics.
