The mission of the Laboratory of Process Metallurgy is to carry out research on metallurgical and other high-temperature processes and to produce for the metallurgical industry diploma engineers and doctors, who understand and master the phenomena of high-temperature processes in the metallurgical industry. The research activities of the laboratory based on the understanding of reactions, reaction kinetics, thermodynamics and mass and heat transfer phenomena in high-temperature processes.
